G-Drive Mini review

An updated G-Drive Mini review

Anyone with a lot of add-ons via USB will be happy with this little one. We also need to clear up some misunderstandings about how much this device costs. For the controller that is compared to almost everything else, you will pay around $ 90. So what is the story of this G-drive Mini? Well, let’s get started.

If you take all the competition and just add this G-Drive Mini, there isn’t much of a difference except for size. The Firewire amounts to 2 and the USB has an interface with three times the number of ports. It also has the power to turn the device on or off. Everything you need is inside the device. It is compatible with TimeMachine and OSX, but it won’t install easily on Windows when you first install it. The port allows a sufficiently adequate speed. Even the USB had a medium speed and did not give us much more advantage. For USB only, this is probably not the drive you’ll want to buy.

This G-Drive Mini was robust and fast. Although it had to shell out around $ 1,300 for an SSD, it still packs an incredible amount of memory at 250GB. Now the SSD has become obsolete due to this small version. There’s always that thought in the back of your mind that it won’t last much longer. As with the previous SSD I reviewed, this mini would have been much better if they had incorporated one. The features are just the smallness and the lightness and that’s it. You must understand that this is not indestructible in a moment; it’s going to fall apart. Therefore, you must weigh your options, especially when looking at the competition that can offer you more.

What this product advertises is its size. Aesthetically, it never really disappoints any area. It’s not striking and I could put it with all my other household stuff and not feel like I was hindering an ugly duckling. But I don’t want to find him a permanent place in my house; I want to take it with me everywhere.

If you are a fan of Apple, you will probably like this product. It goes with the Apple look and also allows for portability. I don’t want to have to keep buying new minis every time they break, so I would be forced to spend the extra money on the SSD version. I wouldn’t mind breaking my wallet for USB 3.0. All of this in one package would make me happy as a camper and I wouldn’t need anything else. It’s not much to go out and buy this whenever you need what you have and don’t mind having to replace it at some point in the near future. Compared to USB, it really is much faster. For just $ 20 more, you get double the space with a 500MB purchase.

The G-Drive Mini Advantage:

• Extremely frivolous

• Has a good Apple look; aesthetically pleasing with just about anything

• A complete package with two Firewires and one USB

• cheap

• too quiet

The downside of G-Drive Mini:

• I can’t have my 3.0 for USB

• I can’t have my SSD

The specifications:

It can be carried everywhere and stores information.

It can contain up to 500 GB of information

Can be used with TimeMachine

You get a Microsoft compatible version

Two options:

A Firewire 400 and a USB 2.0

A triple interface with two Firewire 400 and 800 and USB 2.0

You don’t need any AC chords and the G-Drive Mini is very small, it can fit anywhere.

You can’t hear anything when G-Drive Mini is running and it can be used strictly with laptops and looks good with them too.
