the city of attractions

Paris is clearly one of the most interesting cities in the world. Why? Well, because Paris has almost everything, like classy hotels, famous museums, large squares, beautiful parks and luxury shops. This city has so many sights and attractions, but there are some that you simply shouldn’t miss.

Paris is pleasant from the ground, but it is even more pleasant from a great height, such as from the top of the Eiffel Tower or from the north tower of Notre Dame Cathedral. The Eiffel Tower is the symbol of Paris and Notre Dame is one of the first Gothic cathedrals ever built. From these wonderful monuments, tourists have an amazing view of the city. Paris also has many museums that are must-see attractions for tourists. The most famous of these is the Louvre Museum with its impressive collection. Another is the Musee d’Orsay which has the best impressionist paintings in the world. Tourists also like to go to the Center Pompidou. This is the cultural center of the city and includes a museum of modern art and a huge library.

Parisians are very proud of their streets and squares. They recommend two squares to see: Place de la Concorde and Place Charles de Gaulle. The Place de la Concorde is the largest square in Paris and there is an obelisk in its center. Charles de Gaulle square is also famous for a monument that stands on it. This monument commemorates the victories of Emperor Napoleon, it is called Arc de Triomphe. These two squares are prestigious but not as prestigious as the street that connects them. This street is the Avenue des Champs-Elysees. The Champs Elysées have many shops and the best hotels in Paris. It is a great option for everyone who likes jewelry, fancy clothes or just wants to get a hotel room in the heart of the city. Also this street is good for just taking a walk, but for this reason the city also has many parks. Perhaps the most famous park in Paris is the Jardin du Luxembourg. Many tourists say that going to this park alone is worth every Parisian vacation. Well, maybe this is one of the reasons why Paris is called the city of attractions…
