The futuristic M9 smartphone without HTC gimmicks

One of the favorite phones is the HTC One (M8). It was loved for its beautiful design, beautiful display, and excellent construction. But some flaws that arise in it, namely the UltraPixel camera, the phone stopped becoming the best. To fix it, the HTC One M9 has arrived. There is a suitable 20 MP camera on its back and the design has been redesigned without losing the features that made it special. Here are some impressions that would make the M9 HTC’s biggest hope for 2015.

Construction design

The last three years have seen HTC build a reputation for excellent design and first-class build quality. The M8 was designed to feel and the M9 retained many sharp designs from the original. The front is angular while the rear is curved, with highly polished sides and a different color finish.

There seems to be a compromise in design, although very well done. HTC says there are a lot of staggered cladding, machining, and beveling processes. The buttons are scratch resistant with different textures, while the rear camera comes with a sapphire crystal over its lens.

Another thing worth mentioning about M9 is its ‘table presence’. It is like the noise of a car door and it totally depends on how much you enjoy it.

The specifications

Like those in the latest phones out there, there’s a Snapdragon 810 chip and 3GB of RAM that provide enough power to handle the most demanding apps, videos, and games. The display is a 5-inch 1080p display without any display upgrade from the previous M8.

On the screen

The availability of the Sense 7 interface helps better customization of Android. The Themes application, in addition to changing some colors, reworks the textures, icons, clock, fonts and sounds. As you select an image for the home screen, the application chooses the colors and fonts that suit you best. Sense Home is also aware of the context in which it is being used, how long it is being used and acts accordingly.

Boom and shake the phone

The presence of finely perforated grilles on both sides of the M9 makes Boomsound the main flagship of HTC. A three-finger swipe sends different Dolby songs from the same phone to different speakers in multiple rooms.

Ultra Selfie Sunrise

The new M9 has a 20MP snapper on its back that produces large and proper photos of people’s faces through the use of the ‘exposure engine’. You can even record 4K videos with your smartphone. With the presence of a selfie camera, an ultra-pixel sensor, the use of flash can be eliminated.

To make it easier to find photos, different snapshots can be collected in One Gallery app, as it links Drive / Facebook / Dropbox / Flickr / Instagram photos in one place and makes searching easy.

There may be phones that can boast a lot of futuristic features, but the M9 is still a great example of gimmick-free design, with a smart interface and spectacular build quality.
