2012 is the Year of Spiritual Transformation (enlightenment). This article is about reconciliation or coming to terms with oneself. There are 3 steps to self-reconciliation. This is very important for us this year to truly transform. Because?

It is only through well-informed awareness of the true contents of the self that will activate those contents of the self, in self-expression.

If one is unaware of the opportunity for greatness that lies within oneself, one will never intentionally demand that this greatness be awakened and expressed.

Reconciliation is a process of coming to terms with what we were supposed to do, as opposed to what we have done. This is a place of knowing (our true selves) as opposed to thinking that we know. It is a knowledge that comes from the Spirit and surpasses our minds.

Women are powerful!

At what point do we really realize how powerful we are? When do we know for sure and believe with all our hearts and strength that we can beat anything? That we can move any mountain? When we feel weak, tired, angry, depressed, overwhelmed, we must look within ourselves to reassess what tools we innately possess, what we already have.

Recognizing that our true capacity is not limited or reduced by the opinion of others!

The power is within!

We have great power within us! We can’t tell our friends to watch it. They probably can’t see it. It is big enough to handle all of our problems, circumstances, and situations. Can we use it? Do we know how? How can we have so much power available to us?

We can see it?

Some look, others see… many look because they know we have something. They know that there is something in us (women) that is powerful. Others see that we (women) possess this greatness and wonder-does she really know her power? Can she operate on him? Can I still attack her, distract her, etc.? The power is ours. It’s yours.

3 steps to self-reconciliation

1) Recognize: we must know that God (our spiritual strength) knows EVERYTHING. We must start by acknowledging that we need guidance and have access to comprehensive guidance. In this step, we are acknowledging that we DO NOT KNOW EVERYTHING. Uncertainty is uncomfortable. We must find comfort in KNOWING the ONE who KNOWS. He Knows what he doesn’t know!

2) Surrender – (Let go) – We must let go of old definitions of self. We must know that when we are being transformed or when we are in transition, we are not who we used to be. We need to be aware of toxic relationships or people who can’t imagine us striving to be better. Sometimes people can define us outside of how God has defined and designed us, due to our past experiences. We must let go of old thoughts, bad relationships, habits, and negative mindsets. Because? Because we become what we think. If we fall short in our efforts, instead of picking ourselves up and moving forward, our thinking can cause us to give up. Focusing on or worrying about our past failures, bad habits and people’s opinions will lead us back to that behavior.

3) Acceptance- (Letting come) – A new knowledge of oneself must be acquired. This is done by taking an active role in self-examination, self-analysis, and correction. We must learn about our worth to God, to focus on our strengths, to stand taller and more firmly rooted in self-knowledge. We must embrace and love ourselves despite our imperfections. We must accept who we are and be ourselves.

We cannot judge other people (pre-judge the package before knowing its content). Keep the faith and know that God is sending us resources. We do not know how the person or the package with the contents sent by God will look like. We know that it will be what we need and it is enough!

This Year we MUST have an Open Mind, an Open Heart and an Open Will.
