Botox and Fillers Training

Many doctors, nurses and allied health professionals are looking to add facial injectables to their scope of practice. Obtaining the necessary certification in this treatment will open new opportunities for their careers. They can become a partner of a beauty spa, start their own medical practice or join a dermatology or plastic surgery clinic that offers this service. This type of training also helps them to improve their career growth as it will add an accolade to their resume.

A cosmetic injectable course is designed to teach participants how to safely perform a wide range of aesthetic injections such as dermal fillers and neurotoxins. The training consists of both classroom instruction and hands-on practice sessions on models. The classroom portion covers the fundamentals of facial anatomy as well as the proper techniques for the injection of Botox and other facial injectables.

The instructors for this course are seasoned and expert injectors who will guide students through the procedures step by step. They will explain the benefits and risks of these cosmetic treatments while covering the proper technique for each procedure. The hands-on session provides an opportunity for attendees to apply these techniques on live patients and gain confidence in their skills. The instructors will be available to answer any questions or concerns that may arise during the course.

Unlike other dermal filler and botox training courses, this one has a greater percentage of time spent doing hands on training with the students. This is because the practicalCME team understands how important it is for students to be comfortable and confident performing these procedures in their own practices after graduating from the course. The course is led by a nationally recognized Allergan trainer and includes both didactic presentations and hands on training to provide the highest quality of education possible.

As part of this training, students will learn how to treat common cosmetic issues such as forehead lines, glabellar lines (between the eyebrows), crow’s feet and marionette lines. In addition, they will learn the appropriate use of various dermal fillers such as Juvederm and Restylane for areas such as lips and nasolabial folds (smile lines). This course is designed for Registered Nurses (RN), Nurse Practitioners (NP), Physician Assistants (PA), Dentists (DDS in some states) and MDs who want to integrate these procedures into their existing practice.

In conclusion, Botox and dermal filler training play a crucial role in equipping medical professionals with the expertise necessary to perform aesthetic procedures safely and effectively. By investing in comprehensive training programs and committing to ongoing education, healthcare providers can enhance their practice and meet the growing demand for cosmetic treatments in today’s society.

The course is a 2-day weekend program and is designed to be a stand-alone course or used as credit toward the comprehensive International Certificate in Clinical Aesthetic Injectable Therapies. The program begins with university-level critical theoretical pre-course learning and ends with in-clinic, hands-on training on live models. The course is certified by Allergan for product purchase and attendees are able to begin performing the procedures immediately after successful completion of the course.
