Hiatal hernia bras

It can be difficult to find a bra if you have been diagnosed with a hiatal hernia. Bras that contract the upper stomach can cause pain and even digestive problems. That is why it is important to find a good bra that allows you to be comfortable and supportive.

I recommend that women with hiatal hernias wear only soft cup or non-wired bras. The earrings are likely to cause you pain, so avoiding them will be beneficial. There are fabulous soft cup bras available in a multitude of colors, styles and sizes. You are sure to find something that works for you!

If you’re considering wearing a wireless sports bra, be sure to buy one for low-impact sports. Medium to high impact sports bras will have tight bands that will put too much pressure on the chest.

Bra size upset stomach

Comfort is vital for women with hiatal hernias, which is why I always recommend a looser band size. But first try a bra in your measured size without underwire. If you find it uncomfortable, increase the size of the band. Don’t forget: if you increase the size of the band, you must lower the size of the cup to keep the same amount of space in the cup. For example, if a 34C is too tight, try a 36B.

Best bras for a sensitive rib cage

The easiest solution to this problem is to try a soft cup bra or one without underwire. You may think that there are not many cute styles without a cable, but you would be wrong! Now there are more soft cup bras than ever before and they come in a variety of styles and colors. Many soft cup bras have V-necklines that are not only sexy but supportive as well. For a look that looks more like a “normal” bra, try molded cups or contour cups.
