It is crucial to understand that a double chin is caused by an accumulation of fatty deposits. Unfortunately, some people are more prone to chin fat than others. To effectively burn chin fat, you’ll first need to think about losing weight throughout your body. Double chin exercises can definitely help speed up the fat burning process.

The muscle we will be working on is called the platysma and is located in the upper chest, neck, and facial area.

Before you begin, it is important to remember to maintain proper posture during double chin exercises.

1. While you sleep

The beginning of your double chin exercises does not require much effort. When you go to sleep at night, lie on your side and place your head on a pillow while tilting your head back to stretch your neck. Don’t bend so much that you feel uncomfortable. You will notice that as you do this every night, your body will begin to adjust automatically, and as a result, it will eventually become part of your normal sleep pattern.

2. Chin kickers

Another double chin exercise is called chin slappers. You’ve probably seen them in some of the older movies. Perform this exercise using the back of your hand and tapping lightly on the underside of your chin, gradually increasing your speed. This exercise should be done for a couple of minutes two or three times a day.

3. Closures

First, stand up. Gently tilt your head back as far as possible without straining. While your head is back, close your mouth and feel a stretch in your neck muscles. After a count of 10, begin to bring your head back to the starting position. You can do this exercise up to 10 times a day.

4. It should not be done in public:

Stand. Open your mouth as wide as you can and stick out your tongue. After 15 seconds, relax back to normal. Do them several times throughout the day until you feel comfortable, then increase the number to 10.

5. The last of our double chin exercises:

Stand at your feet. Now, try to touch your nose with your lower lip. Keep repeating this movement until you reach the count of ten.

Most of these exercises can be done at least 2-3 times throughout the day.
