Some of the Disney property features include a waterslide, water tube, Menehune Bridge and Trail, man-made snorkeling lagoon, and stingray-filled conservation pool. Parents and kids alike can enjoy all of these features, which really makes for a family vacation.
2. Snorkeling: Snorkeling is also a wonderful experience for children, and Oahu is a great place to snorkel. Snorkeling cruises are offered throughout the day and can be taken on a variety of different watercraft. Children will love swimming with the wide variety of marine life that swim in the waters, and parents will love watching their children participate in such an incredible experience, and of course, they will also love snorkeling.
3. A Nature Tour: There is a lot of nature to see in Hawaii, and it may come as a surprise to some that not all of it is in the water. There are many other natural wonders for your kids to see on the island of Oahu. Between the spectacular waterfalls, enchanting rainforests, historic volcano sites, and wide variety of unusual wildlife, you can be sure that a nature tour will not only be fun for your children, but also a learning experience.
4. Pineapple Garden Maze – Finally, one of the most unusual activities for children on the island of Oahu is the Dole Pineapple Garden Maze. This is truly a unique experience that both children and adults can enjoy. The maze consists of more than two acres of native Hawaiian plants and is an incredible site to see. Plus, there are other cool things to do while visiting Dole Cannery that you won’t want to miss.
