Google Now functionality

This new feature added with Face Unlock allows to recognize the liveliness of the user’s face. Hold the device in front of your face and blink to unlock it. In this way, the device will recognize the blink and the user’s face to unlock it. Previously, the face unlock feature was static, where it was easy to fool the feature by holding the person’s image against the sensor. With this new Liveness Check functionality, the device will recognize a real person by blinking and then open the lock.
Easy screenshot
With this new software update, a user can easily take screenshots without having to install any third-party applications. Interestingly, a user will also not have to root the device to enable this particular functionality. To take a photo on the screen, the user must press and hold the power and volume buttons. The screenshot will be transferred to the notifications for viewing. The screenshot comes loaded with various image editing options like sharing, editing, deleting, and cropping.
Dictation to text
Android has provided users with Speech-to-text functionality. Previously, this feature was used with Wi-Fi. Now with Jelly Bean, a user can use this feature without having to connect to the Internet. Speech-to-text functionality is included in the phone software so that it can be used offline.
