Wireless power transmission is not a pipe dream. It was discovered about a hundred years ago by the pioneer of electricity, Nikola Tesla. It even has limited use today. Today, there are worldwide examples of wireless power transmission, although it is only being used in limited cases and much more could be done.

Tesla is responsible for many of our modern inventions. He discovered lasers, robotics, remote control, alternating current, cable power transmission, but also wireless power transmission as well.
He was congratulated and widely respected by many of his peers, including Albert Einstein.
Tesla built a laboratory and a transmission tower on Long Island that was intended for the wireless transmission of signals and electricity to any point in the world. Given his previous successes, there was no reason to doubt that he could make this happen. Especially since, prior to this in 1899, he produced the largest lightning bolt ever created by man in his laboratory in Colorado Springs – a 130-foot long bolt whose accompanying thunder could be heard 22 miles away!
Unfortunately, funds for Tesla’s lab on Long Island were withdrawn (in my opinion, due to conflicting interests) and its tower was demolished for security reasons during the war. If it weren’t for this episode, the world could be a very different place today, with wireless power transmission as the norm.
How to Generate Your Own Electricity Using Wireless Power Transmission Technology
This area of research had a lot to do with harnessing “radiant energy”, that is, the energy that surrounds us. For example, radio waves can be connected to a battery-free “cat whisker” radio or to charge a cell phone as described above. Tesla believed that this free energy is all around us and does not just consist of radio waves and other electromagnetic waves.
Today, the repression continues. Governments will not recognize free energy because it destroys the status quo: a world that depends on fossil fuels and struggles for resources. To recognize free energy would be to tell the citizens of the world that everything we currently know is just a ruse and that they have put the wool over our eyes.
