Obtaining a Mission Visa in the UAE is quite simple. This type of permit is usually issued by the Ministry of Labour to professionals who are hired to work in a project based company. The purpose of the Mission Visa is to allow employees to come to the UAE for a limited period of time. However, there are certain requirements that need to be met in order to get one.
What is a Mission Visa in the UAE
The Mission Visa is renewable once. In addition, there is a quota limit. The quota is based on the activities of the company. This means that if a company employs more than 500 people, the quota will be a percentage of the total. If less than 500 are employed, the quota will be a maximum of 50%.
The process of applying for a Mission Visa can take up to four weeks. The application needs to be submitted with a copy of the applicant’s passport and CNIC. The Ministry of Labor will then attest the application and issue a temporary work permit. Once the Temporary Work Permit is approved, the employee will have a period of 90 days to work in the UAE. The application can be renewed for another three months for a fee of Dh500.
How Long Does it Take to Get a Mission Visa in UAE?
A Mission Visa can be used for a variety of purposes. For example, a construction company may use the visa for a period of three months to complete a project. In order to obtain this visa, the company must be registered with the Ministry of Labour. If the company is not registered with the Ministry, then it will be necessary to provide a bank guarantee of AED 24,000, which is good for five Mission Visas. In some cases, the visa can also be issued to freelance workers or independent contractors.
In addition, Mission Visas are also available to foreign nationals who are visiting the UAE for a short amount of time. This visa is a probationary visa and is not meant for long-term employment. If the applicant plans on staying in the UAE for a longer period, they should apply for a residence visa. The Mission Visa is not similar to a Temporary Work Permit, but it is still issued by the same Ministry of Labor.
What documents are required to apply for a Mission Visa
When you are applying for a Mission Visa, you will be assigned a PRO by your company. The PRO will then prepare the application and submit it to the ministry. Your PRO will need to include the following information in the application: the name of the sponsoring company, the job title, the quota percentage and the eligibility criteria for the worker. In some cases, the PRO will be required to obtain a signature from the employee. You can then re-enter the UAE on the Mission Visa after you leave.
The length of the Mission Visa will depend on the type of project. If the employer is a construction or IT company, the Mission Visa will allow the applicant to stay in the UAE for up to three months. If the company is a company that is not registered with the Ministry of Labour, then the company will need to provide a bank guarantee of AED 24,000.
The process of applying for a Mission visa can take up to four weeks. Once the application is completed, the Ministry of Labour will issue the Temporary Work Permit and a Mission Visa Insurance.
